A great way to start getting out in the scene is the Arizona Science Center. Here you can view films on the giant theater screen, view new interesting exhibits like “Titanic”, view the planetarium, attend special events, take classes and all without losing your kids interest.
The Heard Museum is a must see for fans of historical southwestern art as well as learn about Native American culture in the southwest. The Heard museum is home to one of the best collections of Native American art.
For a taste of modern contemporary art you can’t do any better the Phoenix art museum. Phoenix Art Museum’s Collection includes over 17,000 artworks that span the centuries. There is also the Scottsdale center for the arts featuring over 1,500 objects, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper, mixed media installations, design objects, architectural renderings and public art commissions.
